Who We Are The Junior League of Montclair-Newark (JLMN) membership is a diverse group of women dedicated to significantly improving the lives of children at risk in our communities. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. We reach out to all races, religions and national origins, who have reached the age of 21, who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to volunteerism. What We Do The JLMN is a nonprofit organization of trained volunteers. Through hands-on projects and partnerships, our nearly 500 members build a better community by promoting education, health and wellness, literacy and the arts for over 5,000 children at risk each year. The 2010-2011 League Projects are: - Arts for Academics
- Community Impact
- Humdingers
- Kids on the Block
